Government Recognition for Pathways CIC’s Personalised Care Training Academy Award Winning Training
We were proud to welcome Connor Naismith MP, Labour Member of Parliament for Crewe and Nantwich, to our head offices at Pathways CIC last week.
The visit marked the national recognition of our Personalised Care Training Academy (PCTA), which recently received a Princess Royal Training Award, a prestigious honour approved by HRH The Princess Royal and delivered by City & Guilds. The award celebrates employers that demonstrate exceptional commitment to learning, development, and measurable skills impact.
During his visit, Mr Naismith learned more about our pioneering Personalised Care training programmes, which equip professionals across health, care, and community sectors with the tools to deliver holistic, person centred support. These programmes are designed to create sustainable change for individuals and communities, helping people to live happier, healthier lives.
In a wonderful surprise, Mr Naismith shared that he had placed an Early Day Motion in Parliament, recognising Pathways CIC’s exceptional achievements and our award winning, evidence based training and skills development programme for work and health.
“It was a pleasure to meet Connor and discuss the work we do, and we were thrilled to find out that Pathways got a mention in Parliament through an Early Day Motion,” said Yvonne Clarke MBE, Managing Director of Pathways CIC.
“This achievement is a true reflection of the dedication and passion of our staff, who work tirelessly to support individuals and communities to thrive. The award highlights not only the excellence of our training but also its wider impact on health, employment, and wellbeing. It is wonderful to see our innovative approach acknowledged on a national stage.”
Bridging the Work and Health Training Gap
The Personalised Care Training Academy identified a national gap in workforce training around integrating work and health support. To address this, we developed a CPD certified, one day Work and Health Training Programme, designed to empower Work and Health Coaches and other frontline non-clinical staff to deliver holistic, person-centred support.
This award-winning training promotes healthier, more inclusive workplaces and communities, reduces inequalities, and improves wellbeing.
We will officially receive the Princess Royal Training Award at a ceremony in London on December 2nd.
